Christ in us

The Christian Life Center, situated in Clifton, New Jersey, is a vibrant Christian congregation that serves the local community. Our objective is to seek, engage, and encourage others on a life-changing Christian journey.

We’re eager to welcome you as part of our community of faith.

We stand as a united church, true to our foundational design. Our mission is to embody the presence of Christ within us and to broaden the reach of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to everyone.

The New Covenant is a divine promise that God made with humanity. Jesus Christ, as the mediator of this covenant, gave his life on the cross to pay the price for our sins. Through His death and resurrection, those who believe in Him are forgiven and reconciled to God. This covenant establishes His church.

Union: We are united in the deepest and most transformative way. It's more than believing in Him.

Identity: Our identity is redefined. We are no longer just individuals, but part of His body, the church. We are children, joint heirs with Christ, (Romans 8:17) Transformation: Being in Christ implies a continuous transformation. We are renewed by the Holy Spirit, becoming more and more conformed to the image of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Communion: To be in Christ is to have a common union with Him. We pray, we listen to His Word, and we experience His love and grace in our lives.

We preach.

  • Marriage is a covenant, much like the one between God and His people.

  • By reflecting on God's covenant, we learn about marital fidelity. As God remains faithful to us, so must we in our marital vows. Fidelity, exclusivity, and enduring love are crucial in both marriage and our bond with God.

  • Our marriages can mirror God's steadfast faithfulness and selfless love.

  • In the way Christ sacrificed for the church, we too should embody that spirit of love and service towards our spouses.

  • Being 'In Christ' is a profound, life-altering truth that shapes our identity, our connection with God, and our everyday actions. It calls us to live in Him and to emulate His character, love, and grace in everything we do.
